Inductoheat have turnkey system designs and a great deal of experience with induction hardening & the induction tempering of general industrial and automotive components. Our system designs can be tailored to a customer's specific requirements and include a full process monitoring facility.

Traceability within our heat-treatment equipment for each part is provided with parameter storage, date & time stamp and the facility to log data from weeks of production. We have a comprehensive in-house metallurgical laboratory for destructive testing and analysis of parts produced on our equipment. This facility is necessary as part of customer acceptance programmes.

Typical Products
Typical products processed on Inductoheat equipment include:

Axle Shafts Ring Gears
Ball Joints Steering Racks
Camshafts Tipped tool locators
Crankshafts Track Rod Ends
Flanges Transmission Components
Front Wheel Drive Couplings Turbine Blades
Gear Sprockets Valve Seats
Half Shafts Wheel Hubs
Induction Tempering
A combination of frequencies may be used to optimize a gear's hardness pattern to minimize distortion or one high frequency may be selected. Shafts can be hardened by one of two methods to compliment production requirements using high powered single shot methods or traverse (scan) hardening and to provide flexibility utilizing the same induction tooling for a variety of shafts. Induction tempering is becoming an accepted process within the Heat Treatment industry with its improved benefits for batch production and the significant reduction in floor utilization.

Tensile stresses are removed using Induction heat treatment.

Inductoheat have developed a number of unique process advantages in particular the induction hardening and tempering of crankshafts. The SCPL technology is a static process for case hardening and tempering of crankshafts and camshafts.
We will be pleased to discuss these further... References available.
